Dawn Parker has been a fantastic addition to Milner Browne UK and exceptional Managing Director for close to 15 years. This week marks her outstanding last week with us, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the vital role she’s played in building our future.
We caught up with Dawn for a casual Q&A chat.
The highlight of your career to date? Getting the chance to work in many different countries, particularly the USA and South Africa.
Describe what you and your colleagues do at Enterpryze. We look after the 140 MB UK SAP Business One customers, using our knowledge and experience to provide solutions that enable their businesses to flourish and grow. We also work hard to add new customers to the list.
In your opinion, what is the best thing that Enterpryze has to offer? It’s a great way for all employees in the business to access SAP Business One via the Cloud or one of the Mobile Apps for a very modest monthly charge.
Why do YOU think Enterpryze is great? It’s given me great opportunities to broaden my own knowledge and skills at the end of a long career in business software, and to work with some seriously smart people! It’s an amazing product that offers something for every business!
What inspires you every day? I want to go out on a high, so I’m focused on helping the Sales team achieve, and hopefully exceed their targets and ensuring that all our customers stay with us into the future.
What’s the best advice you can give to someone starting their career? Be prepared to try new things, even if it means you’re out of your comfort zone. It’s the best way to grow yourself!
If you could learn any skill in 10 minutes – what would it be? To speak Spanish fluently!
When do you have the most fun at work? At the weekly Sales meetings! Salespeople are a special breed!
Tell us something about you that we might not know? I’ve sung on stage at the Royal Albert Hall 4 times, once with Brian May of Queen fame!
What do you do in your free time? Travel – when they let us out again, read, and watch sports, mostly football!
What are your top tips to stay happy & motivated? Maintain a work-life balance – work hard, but leave it behind completely to enjoy your personal time.
On behalf of the team at Milner Browne and Enterpryze, thank you, Dawn!
